Military Engineer Services, Western Command invites applications for the recruitment of 580 Mate (Tradesman) vacancies through MES Western Command Recruitment 2016.
Age Limit:
18-27 years as on the last date for receipt of application. Age relaxations applicable as per Central Govt norms.
Educational Qualifications:
Matriculation from a recognized Board and Industrial Training Institute pass certificate from a recognized Institute in relevant trade. OR
Trade certificate issued by Regiment Trg Centre in terms of Govt of India, Min of Labour and Employment, Directorate General of Employment & Training letter Nos. DGET-5(12) 7-TG dt 03 Mar 1978 and DGET-07/36/2012-CD dt 04 Mar 2013.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format along with admit card in duplicate affixing self attested passport size photograph, self attested copies of relevant certificates & two self addressed envelopes of size 28×12 cm affixed postage stamp of Rs. 60/- to the concerned address as given in the notification. Envelope must be super-scribed with name of the post applied for along with Category (UR/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH) in Block letters.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in Written Examination to be conducted on 6th March 2016. The written examination will consist of one objective type paper.
Exam Scheme:
I General Intelligence & Reasoning (25 questions) 25M
II Numerical Aptitude (25 questions) 25 M
III General English & General Awareness (30 questions) 30M
IV Specialized Trade Topic (50 questions) 50M
The distribution of marks shall be 90 Marks for Written Test, 10 Marks for Basic Qualification.
