Deputy Manager (MMIC DESIGN) Job code: E24-ECE

Qualification: Ph.D in relevant area of RF/Microwave from reputed AICTE approved Institution / University.

Minimum Experience: 3 Years

The candidate shall have post qualification work experience in the following relevant areas: 1) MMIC Design experience in GaAs pHEMT / GaAs HBT / InP HBT / GaN technologies. Design of components like ampli fiers (low noise, medium and high power), mixers, switches, analog & digital phase shifters, analog & digital attenuators, limiters, multifunction chips etc. 2) Ability to handle all aspects of MMIC design, from speci fication review to simulation, layout and prototype testing. 3) Knowledge of circuit design and EM simulation tools: ADS/AWR and HFSS/other EM tools etc. 4) Experience in non-linear modelling, thermal & EM simulations, characterisation of III-V transistors. 5) Track record of launching complex MMIC designs for fabrication along with foundry liaison experience is desirable.

Qualification:M.E/M.Tech in RF/Microwave Engineering or related specialization from any AICTE approved institution / University with First Class for GEN / OBC candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PWD Candidates. MS from reputed AICTE approved Institutions/University in the relevant specialisation

Experience: 2 Years 

1) Hands-on experience in III-V semiconductor device characterization (measurement setup and execution) such as static & pulsed I-V, CW & pulsed bias S-Parameter, load / source-pull, ToI and noise measurements 2) Experience in using RF / Microwave Circuit Simulation tool such as ADS and EM tools such as HFSS / Momentum. 3) Test, troubleshoot and characterise active and passive RF / Microwave MMICs. 4) Experience in performing On-Wafer DC & RF Tests is desirable.

Mode of Selection: Selection will be through a Written Test followed by an Interview for only those candidates who qualify in the written test.
