Indian Army Havildar Recruitment 2016: Indian Army issued Indian Army Havildar Education in the Army Education Corps in Science and Arts Stream Recruitment 2016 Notification and invites applications from eligible male candidates for the recruitment of 635 Havildar (Education) Science and Arts Stream posts in Indian Army.

Educational Qualifications:
The candidate must have working knowledge of both English and Hindi with Graduation from a recognised university in any of the following subjects at PG/ Graduation level.
(a) Science Stream - M.Sc/ B.Sc/ MCA/ BCA/ M.Tech/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (IT) with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botony, Zoology, Biology, Electronics and Computer Science.
(b) Arts Stream - MA/ BA with English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics and Sociology.
Age Limit:
(a) Civilian Candidates - 20 to 25 years as on 01 Oct 2016 (i.e Candidates born between 01 Oct 1991 and 30 Sep 1996).
(b) Serving Combatants on Remusteration - 20 to 28 years as on 01 Oct 2016 (i.e Candidates born between 01 Oct 1988 and 30 Sep 1996).
Physical Standards:
Minimum physical standards will be as under.
(a) Height (cms)
162 cms - Western Himalayan, Wes tern Plains , Eas tern Plains , Central Plains , Southern Plains,
160 cms - Eastern Himalayan.
(b) Chest (cms) 77 cms - All
(c) Weight (Kgs)
48 Kg - Western & Eastern Himalayan,
52 Kg - Eastern, Western, C entral, Southern Plains.
Physical Fitness Test:
(a) 1.6 Km in maximum 6 minutes and 20 seconds.
(b) Pull ups (Beam) - Minimum 6 pull ups.
(c) Zig Zag balance - Must pass.
(d) 9 feet ditch - Must Pass.
Written Test:
Written examination will be conducted at HQ Recruiting Zones/ IRO Delhi Cantt on 31 Jul 2016.
(a) Part-I (Compulsory for all Candidates) - Consists of 50 questions on General Knowledge and General English. (Max marks are 50 and pass marks are 20).
(b) Part-II (seperate Science & Arts Streams) - (Max marks are 50 and Pass marks are 20).
Teaching Aptitude Test/ Interview:
Candidates declared successful in the above written examination will appear for Teaching Aptitude Test/ Interview to be conducted at AEC Training College & Centre, Pachmarhi (MP).
