Border Security Force (BSF) issued BSF Recruitment 2016 Notification for the recruitment of 622 ASI (RM) & HC (RO) vacancies in Border Security Force (BSF) Comn Setup. Among 152 ASI (RM) posts 91 posts will be recruited directly and 61 posts will be filled by BSF Departmental serving personnel. Among 470 HC (RO) vacancies 282 posts will be recruited directly and 188 posts will be filled by BSF Departmental serving personnel. So out of 622 ASI (RM) & HC (RO) vacancies 373 posts will be recruited directly and 249 posts will be filled by BSF Departmental serving personnel. Eligible candidates can apply online from 16-06-2016 to 15-07-2016.
Age Limit:
Not below 18 years or over 25 years for General, not below 18 years or over 28 years as for OBC & not below l8 years or over 30 years for SC & ST Category as on 15-07-2016. Upper age limit relaxations for SC, ST & OBC serving BSF personnel, Central Government employees & Ex-Serviceman applicable as per norms.
Physical Standards:
A. For Men
1. Height - 168 cm,
2. Chest - 80 cm (85 cm after expansion)
A. For Women
1. Height - 157 cm,
2. Chest - Not applicable.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates can apply online through rectt.bsf.gov.in from 16-06-2016 to 15-07-2016 at 24: 00 hrs & send the print out of online application form along with original DD to recruitment centers superscribing the envelope containing application in bold letters with “Application For The Post of ASI (RM) or HC (RO)” within 15 days from last date of online application.
Candidates (except SC/ ST/ BSF serving personnel & female) should pay Rs. 50/- through Demand Draft in favour of Inspector General/ DIG/ Comdt payable at respective SBI/ post office.
Selection Process: Selection process comprises of 2 phases.
A. First Phase:
1. OMR Based Screening Test (25-09-2016)
2. Descriptive Test (18-12-2016)
B. Second Phase: 20th March 2017 onwards.

2. Physical Efficiency Test
3. Documentation & Final Medical Exam.
