IGNOU desires to recruit a Consultant (IJOL) purely on contractual basis initially for a period of six
months and extendable further on satisfactory performance, as per University norms at its Headquarters located in New Delhi.

Remuneration : Rs. 30,000/- per month consolidated
Age Limit : 60 years maximum relaxable in deserving cases
Essential Educational Qualifications & Experience:
Master degree in Computer Science/Mass Communication.
Minimum 3 years experience of working in a Media House or Institute publishing online & print Journal/Books etc.
Desirable:
Experience of working on Open Journal System platform.
Proficiency in computer related work with MS Office package.
Good writing and communication skills both in English and Hindi
Job profile:
To Monitor/Manage web portal of Indian Journal of Open learning (IJOL).
Coordinating between authors, reviewers and editors via email & posts.
To look after the Publication of University Journal online and offline.
Monitor and update Journal website regularly.
Carryout corrections marked by editors and prepare manuscript as per IJOL Standard format.
Any other work assigned time to time.
Mode of Selection: Walk-in-Interview to be held on 21-10-2014
Medical Fitness: Selected candidate will have to produce a medical fitness certificate to the effect
that he/she did not suffer from any infectious disease for the last three years.
IGNOU reserves the right to relax any qualification/experience prescribed for the post
