Age Limit: Candidates age should be below 45 years for post-1 to 4, 40 years for post-6, 35 years for post-5, 7 to 10 as on date of interview. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Doctorate (Science/ Engg.)/ Post Graduation (Engg.) in Hydrology/ Engineering/ Sciences having experience of Hydrology with minimum 10 years of R&D experience for post-1 to 4, first class PG degree in Hydrology/ Computer Science/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geoinformatics/ MCA/ B.Tech. in Computer Science/ IT with NET/ GATE qualification for post-5, M.E./ M.Tech in (Water Resources Engg./ Hydrology/ Hydraulic Engg./ Water Resources Development/ Irrigation Water Management) with 3 years experience or Ph.D (Water Resources/ Hydrology) with uniformly outstanding academic record and proven ability for high quality R&D work for post-6. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.
