Name of the Post: Trainee Marine Engineer
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 28 years as on 01-01-2015. Candidates belonging to UR/ OBC category must be born on or after 01-01-1987 and SC/ ST category must be born on or after 01-01-1982. The upper age relaxation is 02 years for Women candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechanical & Automation Engineering) from AICTE approved Engineering College.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in All India Online Test, Personal Interview and Medical Examination.
Application Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs.1000/- for General, OBC and Rs.500/- for SC/ ST candidates, excluding NEFT bank charges in to the Account No 10972426052 through SBI, Backbay Reclamation Branch (Branch Code 1593) at Mumbai, Maharashtra, IFSC Code SBIN0001593. Candidates must enter the details like Amount of fees deposited, NEFT UTR number, Bank Name, Branch and Date of deposit in the application form.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.shipindia.com from 31-07-2014 from 10.00 hrs to 25-08-2014 by 17.00 hrs. After applying online, take print out of application form and send it along with photograph affixed on application and attested copies of certificates in support of birth proof, mark sheets, degree certificate, caste & caste validity certificate, in an envelope superscribed with “Application for Trainee Marine Engineer”, sent by ordinary/ speed/ registered post/ courier addressed to Senior Vice President, Flee Personnel Dept, 3rd Floor, The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd, Shipping House, 245, Madame Cama Road, Nariman point, Mumbai 400021, Maharashtra, India on or before 01-09-2014 by 17.00 hrs.
