CFTRI, Mysore

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates Two (2 Nos) positions of Project Assistants on a temporary basis tenable at the Department of Fermentation Technology and Bioengineering (FTBE), CSIR-CFTRI under the research project"Investigations on Nigerloxin, an aldose reductase inhibitor from A. niger, in the treatment of diabetes complications".
Funding Agency : Dept of Biotechnology, New Delhi.

Name of the position : Project Assistant (Level-II).

Essential Qualification : First Class M.Sc in Chemistry/ Bio-chemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology.

Duration : One year extendable upto three years.

Monthly emoluments : Rs.8000/- (Fixed) (under revision).

Desirable : One year research experience.

Last date for receiving application : 23-01-2015.

CFTRI

Central Food Technological Research Institute, a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial research, Government of India wishes to recruit eligible candidates for 2 [Two] Project Assistant [Level-II] positions on a temporary contractual basis in a CSIR Network project CSC-0127 entitled "Encapsulated Microorganisms for Environmental Protection".
Essential Qualification : I Class M.Sc/ Biotechnology / Biochemistry /Microbiology.

Desirable : Research Experience of minimum 6 months.

Emoluments : Rs.12,000/- (Rupees Twelve thousand only) consolidated.

Age Limit : 28 years (relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC as per GOI instructions).

Essential Qualification:
First Class M.Sc., in Biotechnology/Bioscience/Life Sciences/Biochemistry with good academic record and should be NET or NET for lectureship qualified in National Eligibility Test conducted by CSIR-UGC or equivalent qualification.

NET Qualified :A Fellowship of Rs.16,000/- per month for first two years and Rs.18,000/- per month in the third year plus HRA as per DST-CSIR guidelines.

NET for lectureship qualified :A Fellowship of Rs.12,000/- per month for first two years and Rs.14,000/- per month in the third year plus HRA as per DBT-CSIR guidelines.

First Class B.E./B. Tech. in Biotechnology/Chemical Engg./Biochemical Engg. with good academic record and should have GATE or equivalent qualification.

Emoluments : A Fellowship of Rs.16,000/- per month for first two years and Rs.18,000/- per month in the third year plus HRA as per DBT-CSIR Rules.

Essential Qualification: First class postgraduate degree in science with specialization in
 Biological Sciences with good academic records and should have been qualified for lectureship
 in National Eligibility Test conducted by CSIR-UGC. Molecular Biology & animal handling
 experience candidates are preferred.

Emoluments: A Fellowship of Rs.16,000/- per month plus 20% HRA as per DBT-CSIR Rules.
