WALK –IN-INTERVIEW on 16th February 2015 

CSMCRI is a leading research institute of international standards under CSIR. Energetic and highly motivated research personals are required to work under DST sponsored projects (“Tethered Metalloporphyrin-Molybdenum(dithiolene) Complexes Relevant to the Active Site of Molybdoenzymes” or “Terminal Oxo and Imido Transition-Metal Complexes of Group 11 (Cu, Ag, Au): Strategies for Sequential C-H Bond Activation, Functionalization, Carbon-Heteroatom (C-N and C-O) Bond-Forming Reactions and Group-transfer catalysis”) on the synthesis of metal complexes and their applications. 

No. of Post : JRF/ Project Assistant level - II/III: 2 (Two).

Qualifications: (i) M.Sc. (Inorganic / Organic Chemistry) with NET/GATE for JRF, or (ii) M.Sc. (Inorganic / Organic Chemistry) with minimum 55% marks for PA-II, or (iii) M.Sc. (Inorganic or Organic Chemistry) with minimum 55% marks + 2 years research experience for PA- III. 

Fellowship: For (i) 25,000/- pm + HRA, or (ii) 12,000/- pm Consolidated, or (iii) 14,000/-pm Consolidated.

Age:Should not be more than 28 years on 16th February, 2015. 

Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules. Interested candidates are requested to appear before the selection committee for written test/interview on 16th February, 2015 at 9:30 AM in the institute. CSIR-CFTRI invites eligible candidates to appear for a Walk-in-Interview for a position of Junior Research Fellow on a temporary contractual basis in the research project entitled "Identification and characterization of nutraceutically important phytochemicals from physalis minima and carissa spinarum fruits" (GAP-0448) funded by Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, New Delhi tenable at the Department of Plant Cell Biotechnology (PCBT), CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore. Terms & Conditions: Candidates should not have exceeded 28 years of age as on 9th January, 2015, i.e. the date of walk-in-interview for the position. The engagement of JRF is exclusively for the above mentioned project. The engagement will be contractual and on purely temporary basis in the research project funded by Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India (GAP-0426) for a period from January, 2015 to May, 2017 and is co-terminus with the project, if the project terminates earlier. The engagement under the project does not confer any right/claim whatsoever either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR/CFTRI, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview. Age limit shall be relaxable for statutory groups and women as per rule.
