Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from any University/College/Institution, recognized by UGC and the Bar Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years.
Desirable: (a) Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 60% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years or Master’s Degree in Law. (b) Proficiency in computer applications.
Essential: At least two years’ experience as an (i) Advocate/ Legal Consultant/ Legal Assistant/ Associate in an Advocates’ or Solicitors’ Office or Law firm after being enrolled with the Bar Council; or (ii) as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a large bank/financial institution /statutory corporation /company/State/ Central Government or (iii) as a full-time teacher in a Law College/ University, teaching law.

Manager (Technical – Civil)
Essential: A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years. Aggregate Grade Point or percentage of marks where awarded would mean aggregate over the entire duration of the course. Please also refer Para 7 below on Note on Educational Qualifications.
Desirable: Specialization in Structural Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management.
Essential: At least 3 years' experience after graduation (in a position of independent responsibility equivalent to that of an Assistant Engineer) in a public/private limited organization, including Hospitals/Banks/Financial Institutions/Planning/Designing/Construction/Large Office Buildings/ Multistoried Buildings/Housing Companies/residential campus based educational institutions and having experience in preparation and evaluation of tender papers.

Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha)
Essential: (i) Second Class Master's Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English as Core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor's Degree level; OR (ii) Second Class Master's Degree in English with Hindi as Core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor's Degree level; OR (iii) Second Class Master's Degree in Sanskrit / Economics / Commerce with English and Hindi as Core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor's Degree level. (In lieu of a subject of Hindi at Bachelor's Degree level, one may have recognized Hindi qualification equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree); OR (iv) Master's Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation, of which one must be Second Class. Please also refer Para 7 below on Note on Educational Qualifications.
Desirable: Knowledge of bi-lingual word processing.

(i) The candidate should be an Officer with a minimum of five years of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force; OR (ii) The candidate should be of the rank equivalent to Assistant Commandant with minimum five years’ service as Assistant Commandant in Paramilitary Forces such as Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Assam Rifles, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force, Sashastra Seema Bal, Defence Security Corps, National Security Guard, Railway Protection Force, Rashtriya Rifles, Special Protection Force, Commando Battalion for Resolute Action, Special Frontier Force and Home Guards.

Library Professionals (Assistant Librarian) in Grade ‘A’
Essential:
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Commerce/Science and
(ii) Master's Degree in ‘Library Science’ or ‘Library and Information Science’ of a recognized University/ Institution. Desirable:
(i) Diploma in ‘Computer Applications’ from a recognized University or Institute
(ii) Qualified in the national level test (NET/SLET/SET) conducted by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC
(iii) Short term/ crash course on content management, viz. Joomla, Drupal, etc.

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary Details:
A) For Grade 'A' Officers: Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹28,150/-p.m. in the scale of ₹28,150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)-46600-EB-1750(4)-53600-2000(1)-55600 applicable to Officers in Grade ‘A’. They will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Special Allowance and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately ₹63172/- (approx.).
(B) For Grade 'B' Officers: Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹35,150/- p.m. in the scale of ₹35150-1750(9)-50900-EB-1750(2)-54400-2000(4)-62400 applicable to Officers in Grade ‘B’. They will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Special Allowance and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately ₹77208/- (approx.)

Qualifications stand revised as under:
The candidate should be a Graduate, preferably in Information Technology related subjects, such as Computer Science, Electronics, Communication Engineering, Systems Management, etc. A post graduate qualification in the above areas / Management would be an additional advantage.

All other conditions remain the same.

Last date for receipt of applications is February 15, 2016.

1. Applications (App.) are invited for the post mentioned below in Reserve Bank of India (RBI/Bank) from Indian citizens, citizens of Nepal and subjects of Bhutan, persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Myanmar and Sri Lanka with the intention of permanently settling in India and in whose favour Eligibility Certificates have been issued by Government of India.

# Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming in the ‘creamy layer’ should indicate their category as ‘General (GEN)’.
Note (I) - For SC/ST/OBC candidates:
No post has been reserved for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. However, they are eligible to apply. They will not be eligible for any concession/ relaxation. SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. However, they have to pay the intimation charge.
Note (II) - For PWD candidates:
No post has been reserved for Persons with Disability (PWD) category. However, PWD candidates may apply to clear the backlog for PWD vacancies, within the overall notified total vacancies. PWD candidates belonging to any of the three categories of the disability (subject to their suitability for the post as mentioned in following paragraphs) are allowed to apply for both the posts and they will be considered for selection, against the backlog for PWD vacancies, subject to their suitability.
(1) The degree of disability should be (i) Minimum 40% in case of Orthopedically Handicapped persons, (ii) Minimum 40% in case of Hearing Impaired - sense of hearing is non-functional for ordinary purposes of life; do not hear, understand sounds at all even with amplified speech; hearing loss more than 60 decibels in the better ear (profound impairment) or total loss of hearing in both ears, and (iii) For Visually Handicapped candidate either of the following conditions should be fulfilled:
a. Total absence of sight.
b. With visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (Snellen) in the better eye with correcting lenses.
c. With limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20 degrees or worse.
(2) PWD candidates should possess a latest certificate to this effect issued by an authorized Government of India/ State Government Department/ Hospital.
(3) PWD candidates may belong to any category (i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC). Reservation for PWD is horizontal and within the overall vacancies for the post.
(4) Only following categories of PWD are eligible to apply for this post:
  1. OH candidates: OA - One arm affected (Right or Left); BL – Both legs affected but not arms; OL – One leg affected (Right or Left),
  2. HI candidates: PD - Partially Deaf; D - Deaf
  3. VH candidates: B - Blind; LV- Low Vision
Note (III):
Before applying, candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post. The Reserve Bank of India Services Board, hereinafter referred to as ‘Board’, would consider all the candidates applying for this post with the requisite fee/intimation charges (wherever applicable) on the basis of the information furnished in the online application and submission of prescribed documents within stipulated time, and shall determine their eligibility before shortlisting for the interview. 2. ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN IN GRADE 'A'
(A) Job requirements: (i) working with standard Library Software for housekeeping activities in the library such as cataloguing, acquisition and calculation, Serial Control, Subject Indexing, etc (ii) Retrieval of desired information through both on-line and off-line database including various search engines/ processes. (iii) Developing digital library, metadata and content management. (iv) Preservation and conservation of library material. (v) Production, processing and classification of microfilms and digital data.
(B) Eligibility Criteria:
(I) Educational Qualifications (as on 01/09/2015):
Essential: (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Commerce/Science and (ii) Master's Degree in ‘Library Science’ or ‘Library and Information Science’ of a recognized University/ Institution.
Desirable: (i) Diploma in ‘Computer Applications’ from a recognized University or Institute (ii) Qualified in the national level test( NET/SLET/SET) conducted by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC (iii) Short term course on Preservation and Conservation of Library Materials.
(II) Experience (as on 01/09/2015):
Essential: Three years' professional experience in a library under Central/ State Government/ Autonomous or Statutory organization/ PSU/ University or Recognized Research or Educational Institution.
(III) Age (as on 01/09/2015): Between 21 and 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/09/1985 and not later than 01/09/1994).
Refer item 7 below for relaxation in upper age limit for specified categories.
(C) Scheme of Selection: Selection will be through Interview. The Board reserves the right to raise the minimum experience in order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Interview, commensurate with the number of vacancies.
3. ASSISTANT ARCHIVIST IN GRADE 'A'
(A) Job requirements: He would assist Chief Archivist and Archivist in executing record management and archives administration policies, shifting and arrangement of records of permanent value, preparation of reference media to records retrieval services, organizing exhibitions on records and documents, selection of records for repair, preservation and microfilming review and appraisal of records. He/ She would be actively involved in production, processing and classification of microfilms and digital data.

3. Job Requirements: Operation of Lifts and to attend to other electrical works in the Bank premises.
The applicants must fulfill the following conditions:-

a) Educational/Technical Qualifications:
  • Minimum Std 10th pass. Maximum Undergraduate (pass from an educational institute recognised by the State Government).
  • Candidate should possess 2nd Class Wireman’s licence and should have some experience in operation of lifts and some knowledge of electrical work connected with lifts. Lift Attendant’s authorization/licence/certificate from a competent authority as per requirement stipulated by the State Government/Union Territory.
The candidates are requested to produce original certificates/testimonials etc. for verification at the time of interview and under no circumstances laminated certificate/s will be accepted by the Bank.

b) Age limit
The lower and upper age limit for the post is 18 and 25 years respectively as on 01.03.2015. However, the upper age limit is be relaxable for:
(i) SC & ST candidates by 5 years, OBC by 3 years,
(ii) Ex-serviceman candidate to the extent of number of years of service in the armed forces plus additional 3 years, subject to maximum upper age limit of 45 years,
(iii) Displaced persons from Jammu and Kashmir between 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989 by 5 years.
