Name of the Post: Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication)

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20 years to 25 years i.e Candidates should not have been born earlier than 21-07-1989 and not later than 21-07-1994 as on 21-07-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable for Government servants.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelors degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Instrumentation from a recognized University or Institution or Bachelor in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institution, B.E in Electronics and Communication or Instrumentation or Computer Science or Electrical or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institution or Associate Member of Institution of Electronics and Communication or Instrumentation.

Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on Medical standards, physical standards, Biometric, Written Examination & interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.50/- in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country. Recruitment Fee Stamps should be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose and got cancelled from the Counter of Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the issuing Post Office.

Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.25/- in form of Indian Postal Order and Rejection Slip (original) issued by the Presiding Officer. RME fee in the form of IPO should be prepared in the name of INSPECTOR GENERAL (Eastern) Frontier HQ, ITB Police.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format along with Attested copies of following documents/ certificates of Date of birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Two self-addressed envelope of 4″x9″ size with Rs. 5/- postage stamp, by superscribing the envelope as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SUB -INSPECTOR (TELECOMMUNICATION) IN ITBP” and send to the Inspector General (Eastern) Frontier HQ, ITB Police, Sheela Complex, Vidhan Sabha Marg, Near Radio Station, Hazaratganj, Lucknow (UP)- 226001 on or before 21-07-2014 and 28-07-2014 for candidates in remote areas.
