a position of Junior Research Fellow to work on the following Wellcome Trust DBT Funded
project at TIFR-NCRA Campus, Pune :
“Identification of a regulatory gene network essential for the
maintenance of the epidermal architecture and integrity”.
QUALIFICATION : M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech.
(Zoology, Life Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology Genetics, Biochemistry,
Molecular Biology) with minimum 60% marks.
JOB REQUIREMENT : Research work involves (a)
Genetic manipulation in zebrafish and microinjections (b) Immunohistology, immunofluorescence
and in situ hybridisation. (c) DNA/RNA isolation, PCR and cloning. (d)
Maintenance of zebrafish mutant lines.
AGE : Below 28 years.
Appointment is temporary,
initially for one year but extendable until March 2016 depending upon performance.
Monthly Honorarium : Rs.16,000/- + HRA as admissible.
