Age Limit: Candidate age should be 21 to 30 years as on 01-07-2016.Age relaxation is applicable for candidates who have experience in conducting field surveys & field data collection work in Government Organizations, for the number of years of such service, as also to candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC categories/ candidate with disabilities/ Ex-Servicemen as per the Govt of India instructions in vogue.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation Degree from a recognised University with Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics as one of papers at Degree level, Knowledge of English & Local Language & Computer applications like MS Office etc.

Selection Process: Short listed candidates will be called for interactive session.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with self- addressed duly stamped envelope to the concerned Regional Head, of Region on or before as per dates given in concerned region notification.

Ministry of Statistics &Programme Implementation

Applications are invited from citizens of India meeting the following conditions for engagement of 3 (Tentative) Administrative Staff purely on contract basis in the Regional Office of National Sample Survey Office (Field Operations Division), Kolkata for a maximum period upto 15.07.2016 or recruitment of regular staff, whichever is earlier. The selected candidates will be responsible for day to day various office administrativework such as maintenance of files and registers, noting on files, drafting of letters, processing of various bills etc.and would be placed at Regional Office, Kolkata of Field Operations Division of National Sample Survey Office.

Procedure to apply:- Interested candidates may send their application in the prescribed format(To be downloaded from the website www.mospi.nic.in) along with Self-addressed duly to the Regional Head,NSSO(FOD), Regional Office, Kolkata. Copies of application form can also be collected in person from the Regional Office of NSSO(FOD), Kolkata, free of cost. There is no application fee. 

National Sample Survey Office

 This is to inform that Field Operations Division (FOD), NSSO, MoS&PI is going to engage a fresh 645 (tentative) Field Investigators (Fls) purely on contract basis for specific period as advertised by the concerned Regional Offices of FOD (names of the concerned Regional Offices are enclosed at Annexure I). The following conditions for the candidates have to be strictly met

Field Investigators – 645 posts

Essential qualification :
(a) Graduate Degree from a recognized University with Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics as one of the papers at Degree level.
(b) Knowledge of English and local language.
(c) Knowledge of Computer applications like MS office etc.

Age Limit :  Age of candidate should be 21. to 30 years as on 01.07.2015. Age relaxation as per rules.

Remuneration :
(i) Field Investigators will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 16,500/- per month.
(ii) While on tour TA/DA will be as follows:-
a. T.A.:- Sleeper class fare by ordinary/express train or bus fare for ordinary or express bus or actual fare-whichever is less.
b. D.A.:-
(i) Ordinary-Rs. 150/-
(ii) Hotel Stay- Rs. 350/-
