National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) - Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research Centre is looking for fresh post-graduates in Library & Information Science for appointment as Library Trainees on contract.

Qualification: Masters Degree in Library & Information Science from a recognized University/Institute with minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.

No. of vacancies: Two

Age: Below 26 years.

Consolidated Salary: Rs.18000/- to Rs. 20000/- per month.

The selected candidates shall be offered consolidated salary and the contract will be initially for a period of One (1) year with Probation of Three months.

The selected candidates will be required to join immediately. The candidates should be willing to work in shifts.

Applications are invited for the positions of 'Facility In-charge', 'Facility Assistant' and 'Facility Trainee'. Applicants should have a Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in any branch of biology, with a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent GPA and a track record of publications, as applicable. Candidates with considerable experience in field ecological research and management, biodiversity, museum sciences, and outreach, are preferred for these unreserved positions. Salaries will be commensurate with the relevant academic preparation and work experience of the candidates. The term of the positions is one year, which may be extended further after performance reviews and another round of applications.

Selected candidates shall be offered a consolidated pay based on their qualification and experience. The contract will be initially for a period of One (1) year which may be extended up to maximum of three years depending on the performance of the candidate.

Qualification:                                            Diploma in Electrical/Electronics with 60% from a recognised Institute.

Experience:                                              Minimum Three (3) to Four (4) years experience in the field of Building Management System Installation, Programming, Trouble Shooting and   Maintenance.Experience in handling Electrical and Electronics Control Systems with good communication skills will be an added advantage.

Consolidated salary for the above position is Rs. 25,000/- to 35,000/- pm.

Age limit for this position is below 28 years.

The selected candidates will be required to join immediately. Higher starting salary can be considered for candidates with outstanding record of accomplishment and experience in relevant field.
