 BEL Clerk & Technician Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: (As on)

1. Engineering Assistant(Trainee) - Mechanical – i. Candidates should have completed three years full time Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline/subject from a recognized institute. ii. General/OBC candidates should have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks, SC/PwBD candidates should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the essential qualification exam.

2. Technician “C‟ - Electronics Mechanic / Fitter – i. Candidates should have completed SSLC+ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institute and one year apprenticeship training with National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade or SSLC + 3 years National Apprenticeship Certificate Course in the relevant Trade. ii. General/OBC/EWS candidates should have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks, SC/PwBD candidates should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in essential qualification exam.

3. Clerk-cum Computer Operator “C‟ - i. Candidates should have completed three years fulltime B.Com/BBM from any recognized University and should possess knowledge in computer operation. ii. General/OBC candidates should have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks, SC/PwBD candidates should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in essential qualification exam.

Age Limit: (As on 01.07.2023)

1. Engineering Assistant(Trainee) - Mechanical - Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 28 years

2. Technician “C‟ - Electronics Mechanic / Fitter - Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 28 years

3. Clerk-cum Computer Operator “C‟ - Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 28 years

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through BEL official Notification 2023 for more reference. 

Salary Details:

1. Engineering Assistant (Trainee) - Mechanical - WG-VII/CP-VIRs.24500-3%-90000/-+Admissible allowances

2. Technician “C‟ - Electronics Mechanic / Fitter - WG-IV /CP-V Rs.21500-3%- 82000/-+ Admissible allowances

3. Clerk-cum Computer Operator “C‟ - WG-IV /CP-V Rs.21500-3%- 82000/-+ Admissible allowances

BEL Clerk & Technician Selection Process 2023:

Selection will be through Written Test and Trade test (practical test / skill test), if any. The candidates meeting the eligibility criteria and other conditions will be shortlisted for written test. However, trade test (practical test / skill test) will be conducted at the discretion of the management, if required.

Application Fee/Exam Fee for BEL Clerk & Technician: 

1) General, EWS and OBC candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs.295/- (Application fee: Rs.250/- plus 18% GST).

2) The application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect link provided. Candidates are requested to read the details and screenshots for making the payment.

3) Candidates can also make the payment by approaching SBI Branch. Candidates should select SBI branch in the payment option and download pre-printed challan generated through SBI Collect and deposit the application fee (as applicable) plus applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch. The candidate should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.

4) General, OBC and EWS candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect Reference No.” generated after payment, in the Online Application Form. SC/PwBD Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

5) Candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting Application Fee and submitting the application. Fee once paid will not be refunded. Applications of candidates, who do not remit the prescribed application fee, will not be considered.

(b). Before applying for the post, the candidates should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement. No manual / paper application will be entertained. No hard copy application will be accepted.
