  1. Metro Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA) Co. Limited is a 50:50 Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) jointly owned by Government of India and Government of Gujarat is entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase 1. MEGA invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for appointment of key senior, middle / junior level management positions. The following posts / appointments will be only on “Contract” with min.3 years to 5 years, on standard terms & conditions of the Organization.
  2. Sr. No.1: General Manager (Underground Construction) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be B.E/B.Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having minimum 20 years of Post Qualification experience in large infra project execution environment, out of which 7 years in Metro underground construction including with deep excavation support systems, design / construction of underground civil structures, underground stations, design & construction of tunnel by TBM, C&C methods. Experience in top-down & bottom up station construction methodology in urban locations is required. Should have worked for 3 years in the position of GM or one rank below GM or HoD. Candidate must be familiar with management of contracts relating to the large infrastructure projects. Quality Control & Assurance System in civil construction, Safety Implementation, Programme Monitoring, IS / International Codes for construction of civil underground structures is desirable
  3. Sr. No.2: Assistant General Manager (Design) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having minimum 10 years of Post Qualification structural design experience, out of which 4 years in detailed structural design of Metro Viaduct, Pile Foundation, PSC Box Girders, I Girders, diaphragm walls for Metro Rail Viaducts and Stations. He / She shall be responsible to review detailed designs & drawings submitted by Detailed Design Consultants (DDC) and further responsible for Design Coordination with DDC, GEC, Professional Consultants and Construction Departments. Preference will be given to Designer having work experience on Design Software’s like STAAD, E-tab, Strap etc., He / She should have sound knowledge of IS, IRS, RDSO guidelines and other relevant codes to design above components.
  4. Sr. No.3: Assistant General Manager (Track) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having minimum 10 years of Post Qualification experience, out of which 4 years in design and construction of Metro Rail / Railway track / track components procurement / planning construction and should be well versed with long welded design and specifications. Shall be incharge of all track related works and will assist the GM / Chief Engineers and / Or DGM / Dy.Chief Engineers in track procurement, design & planning and track construction & maintenance. Candidate should have experience and knowledge of inter-face with Railway related disciplines such as signaling, traction and rolling stock, etc.
  5. Sr. No.4: Assistant General Manager (Depot) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having minimum 10 years of Post Qualification construction experience, out of which 4 years in planning and construction of Depots of Metro Rail / Railway workshop / loco shed/ large industrial unit with pre-fabricated steel structure. Must have completed construction of one Metro Rail Depot. Metro Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Limited (A SPV of GOI and GOG) Shall be responsible for planning, procurement, contract management and will be overall responsible for supervision and monitoring of Construction works of Depot. Candidate should have experience and knowledge of inter-face with Railway related disciplines such as track laying works, signaling, electrification and rolling stock, etc.
  6. Sr. No.5: Senior Manager –Platform Screen Doors (PSD) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be B.E/B.Tech (Electronics /Communications /Mechanical / Electrical) engineering graduate having minimum 9 years post qualification experience, out of which 5 years experience in installation / testing / commissioning / operations of Platform Screen Door systems in any Metro Rail/ LRT / Suburban Rail/ Road transport etc. is essential. Candidates with Metro Rail Project experience will be preferred.

Sr. No.6: Assistant Manager –Platform Screen Doors (PSD) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be B.E/B.Tech (Electronics /Communications /Mechanical / Electrical) engineering graduate having minimum 3 years post qualification experience, out of which 2 years experience in installation / testing / commissioning / operations of Platform Screen Door systems in any Metro Rail/ LRT / Suburban Rail/ Road transport etc. is essential. Candidates with Metro Rail Project experience will be preferred.
  8. Sr. No.7: Senior Manager –Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be B.E/B.Tech (Electronics /Communications /Computer Science / Electrical) engineering graduate having minimum 9 years post qualification experience, out of which 5 years experience in installation / testing / commissioning / operations of Automatic Fare Collection Systems in any Metro Rail/ LRT / Suburban Rail/ Road transport etc. is essential. Candidates with Metro Rail Project experience will be preferred.
  9. Sr. No.8: Assistant Manager –Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be B.E/B.Tech (Electronics /Communications /Computer Science / Electrical) engineering graduate having minimum 3 years post qualification experience, out of which 2 years experience in installation / testing / commissioning / operations of Automatic Fare Collection systems in any Metro Rail/ LRT / Suburban Rail/ Road transport etc. is essential. Candidates with Metro Rail Project experience will be preferred.
  10. Sr. No.9: Assistant General Manager (Underground – E&M) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical) engineering graduate having minimum 10 years of Post Qualification construction experience, out of which 4 years in Tunnel ventilation, Environment control system and E&M works of Underground Metro Rail Projects.
  11. Sr. No.10: Assistant General Manager (Lift & Escalator) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical) engineering graduate having minimum 10 years of Post Qualification construction experience, out of which 4 years relevant experience pertaining to lift & escalators in Metro Rail Projects. Shall be responsible for interfacing with Civil and other system Department, preparation of bid documents, technical specifications, coordination, supervision and also interface with GEC (General Engineering Consultant) and DDC. Shall also be responsible for tender evaluation, design review, site supervision, installations, testing & commissioning of Lift and Escalators. Review of tender documents, GFC drawing etc., submitted by DDC.
  12. Sr. No.11: Senior Manager – Adm. & Logistics – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be full time Graduate from a recognized university in Science or Commerce with MBA degree (Full Time) having minimum 9 years post qualification experience in administration, management or handling logistics of large organization, out of which he must have worked minimum 5 years as Manager Level or above with large Corporate/ Organization or State PSUs, Corporations / Boards and have hands on experience in general administration & logistics functions of such Company or Organization having minimum 500 manpower
  13. Sr. No.12: Manager (E&M – Depot) – No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical) engineering graduate having minimum 7 years of Post Qualification construction experience, out of which 3 years relevant experience E&M works in Metro elevated stations / Depot.. Shall be responsible for Co-ordination, supervision and interfacing with GEC (General engineer consultant) and DDC in connection with Design / Specification, installations, testing, commissioning and site supervision of LT panels, DG sets, LT cables & cable trays, EOT cranes & compressor systems for workshops, BMS and Access control system, VRF/VRV air-conditioning system, LV distribution, Electrification of Building, Earth mat and Earth pits, Fire pumps and plumbing pumps, Fire hydrant, Sprinkler and Fire Detection and Alarm, Interfacing with other system Dept. Review of tender documents, GFC drawings etc. submitted by DDC.
  14. Sr. No.13: Assistant Manager (E&M) – No. of posts 2 (Two) Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical) engineering graduate having minimum 3 years of Post Qualification construction experience, out of which 2 years relevant experience E&M works in Metro elevated stations / Depot..   15. Salary : Rs.25,000-2,22,000/-per month
  1. GENERAL CONDITIONS 1. ON CONTRACT • Exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates can be considered for higher position & compensation package. • The compensation package would be increased every year by 5 to 10 % based on performance review at the end of each year. • Eligible Officials / Staff working in MEGA Co. may also apply through proper channel. Further the selected candidates will be extended medical coverage and personal accident insurance coverage as per MEGA Rules. 2. CONTRACT APPOINTMENT 1. The Contract Appointment will be initially for 3 years to 5 years on extendable basis.
  2. The contract of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving 30 days (up-to Manager Cadre) or 90 days (Sr. Manager & Above Cadre) notice or by paying the contractual remuneration in lieu of notice period, if the circumstances so warrant.
  3. CONDITIONS 1. Candidates who have appeared for interviews conducted by MEGA for the above said posts on an earlier occasion need not send their applications again unless there is a change in the eligibility criteria. 2. Prescribed qualifications are the minimum requirements and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
  4. The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of minimum experience does not confer any right for interview / selection.

  6. SELECTION 1. Any candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated documents or making statements, which are false or incorrect or indulging in suppression of facts, attempts to use unfair means for the purpose of recruitment, will be liable for rejection. 3. The candidate shall have to indicate his/her acceptance to the offer within fifteen days from the receipt of offer, if not; next candidate in order of merit will be offered the appointment on similar lines. However, the Competent Authority may grant such extension of time depending upon the exigencies, if so requested.
  7. MISCELLANEOUS 1. Original Documents in support of qualification and relevant experience shall be submitted along with the Resume at the time of interview. Non-submission of documents along with the Resume, will lead to rejection of candidature at any stage during the process of recruitment.
  8. MEGA shall not be liable for any damage / injury / loss to the individual, if any, sustained during the entire recruitment process and journey. 3. Management reserves the right to assess fitness or otherwise of the candidates selected.
