POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India and a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete inter-State transmission system and operation of National & Regional Power Grids.
POWERGRID, Western Region Transmission System-I is looking for Bright, Committed and Energetic persons to join its fold as Diploma Trainee (Electrical) and Diploma Trainee (Civil):

1.  Diploma Trainee (Electrical) – SDT – 11 posts
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil) – SDT – 04 posts

Age limit as on 27.06.2015 : 27 years. Age relaxation as per rules.

Essential Qualification & Experience :

1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical) – SDT – Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for GEN/ OBC(NCL)/SC candidates and Pass marks for ST/PwD (HHPD/OH-OL).
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil) – SDT – Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for GEN/ OBC(NCL)/SC candidates and Pass marks for ST.

Pay Scale / Stipend :

1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical) – SDT – Stipend of Rs. 16,500/- per month during training period. On successful completion of training to be regularized as Junior Engineer Gr-IV (S1) in the Pay Scale : Rs. 16000 – 35500
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil) – SDT – Stipend of Rs. 16,500/- per month during training period. On successful completion of training to be regularized as Junior Engineer Gr-IV – Civil (S1) in the Pay Scale : Rs. 16000 – 35500
