Notification for Agricultural Research Service (Preliminary) Examination • 2015 In combination with National Eligibility Test (NET) -2015 

Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) shall hold a combined Agricultural Research Service (Preliminary) Exam - 2015 and National Eligibility Test (NET) -2015

Examination for: 
(a) Selection of candidates for the MS (Main) Examination-2015.
(b) For determining eligibility of candidates for issue of NET Certificate for being eligible to apply for the positions of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) / Agricultural Universities (AUs).

The candidates are required to apply Online for being considered either for ARS • 2015 (Preliminary) Examination only or for NET - 2015 Exam only or for both.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Online Registration of 10-00 hrs on Application Starts 19.10-2015
Online Registration of 17-00 hrs on Application Closes 19-11-2015
Period of On-line Preliminary 04-12-2015 to Examination for ARS - 2015 10,12-2015 combined with NET • 2015 (staggered over several sessions/ days depending on discipline allotment by ASRB)

AGE LIMIT 
For ARS • 2015 (Preliminary) Examination:-Between 21 years and 32 years as on 01-08.2015 (Relaxation as per rules stipulated in the Notification for prescribed Reserved categories / Departmental candidates.) For NET • 2015 :- Must be at least 21 years as on 0148.2015 ( No Upper Age limit)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS 
Master's Degree in the relevant Discipline/ Specialization as stipulated in the Notification as on the cut off date stipulated In the Notification

(i) Age- Candidate should be in the age group of 18-27 years as on 30.09.2015.
(ii) Educational Qualification as on 30.09.2015- Graduation/Post Graduation with minimum 45% marks. Knowledge of Computer Operation is essential.

Qualification(s):

Essential:-  Graduate  Good typing speed in both Hindi (UNICODE) and English.
