Fitter

In response to the growing demand in the field of repairing installation and maintenance of different domestic appliances and industries, the fitter trade of this institute has established and affiliated to the NCVT Govt. of India vide its letter No DGET-6/18/34/2008-TC 14/11/2008. The laboratory is equipped with all modern machinery to meet the current demand of modern industries of our country. SCOPE ITI objective is not only to ensure a better career but also to identify feasible projects and to enhance the entrepreneurship spirit, SCOPE ITI  is going to implement the production-cum-training programmer under the registration of DIC,Bhubaneswar very soon, so that practical ability and professional exposure of the students can be increased, the laboratory not only satisfies the NCVT fitter syllabus but also meets the demand of modern and high-tech of industries with all necessary machineries and instruments. the trainees are taught about the fundamental principles of fitting, drilling, taping, riveting, making of nuts and bolts, framing of different sheet metal works, manufacturing of different hand tools like bench vice, pipe Vice, Divider, scriber, Hammer, DE spanner and adequate knowledge about handling of lathe machine and fabrication works, etc.
