Walk-In-Interview on 11th February, 2016 for Project JRF/Project Assistant level I-II

Project JRF/Project Assistant level II (PA-II): 5
Project Assistant level I (PA-I): 2

Qualifications: For PA-II: M. Sc. in chemistry with minimum 55% marks. For Project JRF, NET-LS/GATE is required. For PA-I: B. Sc. in chemistry with minimum 55% marks.
Fellowship (consolidated): For PA-II : Rs.12000/- pm and Rs.14000/- pm for NET-LS/GATE qualified candidates. For PA-I: Rs.8.000/- p. m., Rs.10000/- after satisfactory completion of one year.
Age: Maximum 28 years for PA-II and 25 years for PA-I as on the date of interview. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rule.

General Conditions:-

For PA-II: Computational studies to design dye-sensitized solar cells and sensors for cations/anions (one), chemical analysis (one), operation of sophisticated analytical instruments (three).
For PA-I: Scientific data entry and secretarial job (one), operation of instruments (one).
Duration of project: Initial appointment for all posts is for one year; extension will depend on project duration, fund availability and satisfactory performance.
Application and interview
Interested candidates are requested to appear before the Selection Committee for written test (only for PA-II) and interview on 11thFebruary, 2016 at 9.00 am in this Institute. You are requested to bring with you an application on plain paper giving full particulars such as (1) Full name and postal address with e-mail and Ph. No., (2) Date of birth and (3) Educational qualifications and experience (if any) together with the Xerox copies of certificates/testimonials. If necessary, a printed copy of an application type document will also be supplied to you to fill up for certain information. You are also requested to bring with you the following documents:


1. Original Certificates(s), Marksheet(s) (Degree/Diploma, etc.) of the educational qualifications, certificate in support of the date of birth etc. mentioned by you in your application. This is required for verification.
2. Original Experience Certificates, Testimonials etc.
3. In case you are employed in a Government/Semi-Government or Autonomous Organization, you should bring with you a No Objection Certificate from your present employer. Otherwise, you will have to give a declaration that at present you are un-employed.
